Until recently when I was cruising YouTube.com,I had no idea that Brent Spiner did such a good impersonation of Patrick Stewart. Combine that with Mr. Spiner’s somewhat imaginative sense of humor and you get some really funny videos.

Here are a few examples (I’ve saved what I think is the best one for last):

Since nobody seemed to notice the last caption contest, I am, as promised, declaring myself the winner with this caption:

Kirk (offscreen): Harry, If you’re going to start selling coogi clothing then the first thing you’re going to have to do is get a different model. Here’s my little black book.

Here is this week’s picture:

As usual, the rules are:

  • Post your caption in the comments
  • Rate other comments with the thumbs-up and thumbs-down tools at the bottom of each comment.
  • The caption with the highest rating will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, a winner will be chosen by me.
  • Enter as often as you wish.
  • Please keep all captions family friendly (PG-13 or nicer)
  • As the author of this blog, I simply don’t feel right declaring myself to be the winner unless there are no entries other than my own, but I do reserve the right to participate.
  • Most importantly, have fun. Since the only “prize” is a simple congratulatory pat on the back, there’s no reason to get all up tight and nasty about it. The goal here is to laugh and to make others laugh.

Need a laugh? How about a laugh that pokes a little fun at J. J. Abrams’s Star Trek reboot?

The folks at HowItShouldHaveEnded.com have posted a youtube video depicting an alternate ending for Star Trek. Embedding seems to be disabled, otherwise we’d post it here, but the best we can do is to provide this link so you can watch the video on YouTube.com.

Now, we’re off to go check out their alternate ending for Star Wars IV A New Hope.

There is a small series of videos on YouTube called Phat Trek. It is a parody of the original Star Trek with the ship under the command of Tiberius T. Crane. In the first episode, the ship is attacked by what is essentially a living blob of fat that tries to digest the ship and crew. Unfortunately, the ship is not equipped with any of the best fat burners that should obviously be available by that time period.

There have not been any new Phat Trek videos in some time and we are looking forward to more.

Back in August we wrote a post about a Star Trek parody being published on YouTube called Phat Trek. Having gone back to check recently, we are left to assume that Tiberius T. Crane has abandoned his search for the best weight loss supplements because there have been no new episodes published in about two months.

What’s disappointing is that the last thing yousee in the last episode posted is the phrase, “To Be Continued”. It’s reminiscent of another show that ended a season with a cliff-hanger and was canceled before the next season started.
