Another week, another caption contest, and another photo with no entries. Since nobody added a caption to this picture, I’m going with my own caption as the winner:

Star Trek Rock

Kirk: Bones, put that thing away until you can get some guitar lessons.

This week we’re looking for a caption for this picture:

elementary dear dataSo, tell us: is this a trip into the Holodeck or are these the new StarFleet uniforms, or do you have an idea I haven’t thought of yet? Post your caption in the comments.

As usual the rules are simple:

  • Post your caption in the comments
  • Rate other comments with the thumbs-up and thumbs-down tools at the bottom of each comment. The caption with the highest rating will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, a winner will be chosen by me.
  • Enter as often as you wish.
  • Please keep all captions family friendly (PG-13 or nicer)
  • As the author of this blog, I simply don’t feel right declaring myself to be the winner unless there are no entries other than my own, but I do reserve the right to participate.
  • Most importantly, have fun. Since the only “prize” is a simple congratulatory pat on the back, there’s no reason to get all up tight and nasty about it. The goal here is to laugh and to make others laugh.

Star Trek Rock

Since there were no entries for the last caption contest, I went looking online for a picture that just begged for a caption. Post your caption for this picture in the comments. Personally, I think it looks as though Kirk is saying something like, “Bones, put that thing away until you can get some guitar lessons.”

As usual the rules are simple:

  • Post your caption in the comments
  • Rate other comments with the thumbs-up and thumbs-down tools at the bottom of each comment. The caption with the highest rating will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, a winner will be chosen by me.

Wesley Crusher "Remember Me"

The caption contest last week was another of those that didn’t generate a single comment. Perhaps if I had the wherewithal to give away acer desktops to all the winners then there would be more participation. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case and the prize remains a congratulatory pat on the back.

Since there were no entries, I’m going to caption last week’s photo myself.

The Deadly Years

Shatner: Leonard, if you didn't want to play the same character for 40 years then you should have read the contract before you signed it.

This week’s contest should be easier. Given that most Star Trek fans don’t seem to like Wesley Crusher, here’s your chance to put your words into his mouth. Tell us what is going through the WunderKid’s mind in this shot:

Last week’s Caption Contest didn’t seem to do so well, ending up with only one entry and that one being my own. Since nobody else wanted to compete with my caption, I’m going to assume that mine was the best possible caption. Here it is, for those who missed it:

Journey To Babel

Kirk: Not now, Uhura, that Orion babe over there needs my …. erm … advice.

Let’s try this again, and this time I’ll keep my comments to myself for at least several days. ;) Here is this week’s picture. Caption this!

Unfortunately, Kevin, who won the last two Caption Contests, didn’t enter a caption this week, meaning we have a new winner this week.

This week’s winning caption was submitted by Tinfoil Chef. Here’s his caption:

The Incredible Hulk

Hulk: Luuuucy, you got some ‘SPLAININ to do!!

Congratulations, Tinfoil Chef, on that hilarious caption.

Here’s this week’s caption contest. Remember, enter early, enter often.
